I AM a housebound writer, book reviewer, essayist, lived experience adviser and independent scholar.
The wonders of the internet keep me in touch with people and the world at large. Working online, with a background in office administration and an MLitt in Literature from the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI), I am able to offer dedicated support to small businesses and individuals across many disciplines. My passions and concerns (in no specific order) include:-
- Art
- Literature
- Creative Writing
- Disability
- Mental Health
- Equal Rights
- Climate Change
- the Environment
- Raising awareness of unconscious bias towards the disadvantaged and vulnerable
- Elimination of stigma, prejudice and discrimination in schools, work places and society
- Improving and streamlining access to specialist and mental health support services
- Fostering disability and mental wellbeing, equality and support in local settings and minority communities
As a lived
experience adviser I act as a voice for the vulnerable in our society
who are unable to speak up for themselves. By consulting with other
relevant indivuals and organisations and working with local authorities and the Scottish Government to affect
change, I endeavour, through my writings, to help make the world
better for all.
